Christmas 2013

We had a wonderful Holiday with many of our favorite traditions.  Every Christmas Eve begins with Cash and I baking Christmas cookies for Santa.  Then we get ready and go to the Christmas Eve Service with our great friends, The Longs.  After that, we come home and enjoy a family dinner followed by decorating the cookies for Santa and leaving out carrots for the reindeer.  Cash likes to cover the cookies completely with red and green sprinkles.  The Pajama Elves always make Cash a visit when he is finishing up his shower with a ring at the door.  He opens the door to find a new Christmas book and pjs each year.  Then we sprinkle the special magical reindeer food on the lawn and tuck Cash into bed excited for Christmas morning!! We wake up the next morning to a very excited Cash jumping on our bed.  He is always so patient as AJ and I make our cups of coffee and his hot cocoa.  First we open the stockings and Santa's gifts, then tear into ours.  This year he cherished each gift and was so very thankful for them.  Among his favorites were: Disney Infinity for XBOX 360, Home Alone Movies Combo Pack, and his Lego Police Station to build.  He absolutely loved his new TV from Grandpa Jim.  After we finished, we sat down to a Christmas breakfast together.  Each year I make breakfast pizza.  Yummy!  Then the three of us just enjoyed the rest of the day relaxing and playing together.  Grandma Barb and my niece, Skylar, came to visit the day after Christmas.  We spent time on the beach and at Dave and Busters.  Grandma Barb brought him one of his favorite gifts too, a flashlight pet. Cash is a little crazy for stuffed animals and "As seen on TV items." Cash and Skylar had such a nice visit just playing, using his Eazy Bake oven, and creating with Legos.
